The Dreaded Root Canal

Sometimes, when you have a toothache, the cause is due to the tooth being severely decayed. If the toothache is causing you severe pain, the never on the inside of the tooth may be dying or already dead. If this is the case, youll need to either have the tooth extracted or the nerve removed from the tooth, in order to remove the abscess. Removing the nerve will save the tooth, and is known as a root canal.

Root canals are very common within the world of dentistry, as they represent a known way to save the tooth from dying. Although many people end up having their teeth extracted, others turn to the root canal. This dental procedure isnt preferred by many, as it can take quite a long time, normally around 3 – 4 hours. If the abscess is severe, it will take longer, as the dentist will have to scrape out all of the dying pulp from inside of the tooth.

Now days, dentists are starting to use machines to do a majority of the scraping and probing associated with root canals. In the past, the dentist had to do it all himself which took quite a bit of time. Now, with the use of a machine, the dentist can drill the hole in the tooth then let the machine to do the scraping. This helps to cut down on the amount of time for a root canal, as well as ensure that all of the dead or dying pulp has been removed efficiently.

The cost for a root canal may also be something that people fear worse than the actual procedure itself. Root canals can cost around $800 to over $1,000 dollars, which makes it something that many cant afford. Instead of paying a high price to have a root canal, most choose to pay a smaller price and simply have the tooth extracted.

The choice you need to make when thinking about a root canal, is whether or not you wish to save the dying tooth. Sometimes, a dentist will recommend the root canal, especially if he thinks it would be in your best interest to save the tooth. Other times, he will let you make the decision, and decide if you want to save it or just go ahead and have it extracted.

Although the root canal is a procedure that many fear, it is also a procedure that can save the life of your tooth. If you have a dying tooth, you should consider this procedure. It isnt really that painful, as youll be numb the entire time. The only thing thats really frustrating is the time it takes to complete the root canal. Even though it may be time consuming – it is still an efficient way to save the life of your tooth.

Pregnancy: After Birth: Should You Return to Work?

Are you a woman who has just recently had a baby? If you are, congratulations! The birth of a new child is a fun, adventurous, and memorable experience. Although work may be the farthest thing from your mind right now, it is something that you may want to take the time to think about. After having a baby, a large number of women wonder whether or not they should return to work.

When it comes to determining if you should return to work after having a baby, there are a number of important factors that you will want to take into consideration. For many women, money is an issue. How is your current financial situation? Before your baby was born, were you relying on one or two incomes? This simple question may play an important role in your decision. Many women are able to stay at home with their children if they have another source of income, like a regular paycheck from their spouse or live in partner.

Although money may be an issue for you, when determining if you should return to work after the birth of your child, it is also important to examine the money that you may save. As a parent, you likely wouldnt send your child to just any daycare center. Unfortunately, daycare providers that come highly rated and recommend often have high fees. It is not uncommon for parents to pay one hundred dollars or more a week in childcare expenses, just for one child. It is also important to examine the reduction in work purchased snacks and drinks, as well as gasoline to and from work. After this comparison, you may find that staying home with your child, after their birth, is actually a cost effective solution.

When determining if you should return to work after the birth of your child, you are also urged to examine the benefits of staying home. From birth to the toddler age, children are at an important stage in their life. Many experts have stated that close contact between parents and their children can help improve their relationship, as well as improve their developmental skills, as someone is working with them at all times. These are just important factors to take into consideration.

Of course, it is also important to remember that you dont just have to be a stay-at-home mom. There are a large number of mothers in the United States who are considered work-at-home moms. With a computer and internet access, there are a number of work-at-home jobs or home-based business opportunities that can allow you to stay at home with your new baby, as well as bring in a source of income. If you have yet to return to work, working from home is something that you may at least want to take into consideration.

The above mentioned points are mostly centered on the benefits of staying at home with your child, after their birth. While there are a number of benefits to doing so, you should also know that there are a number of benefits to sending your child to daycare, as long as that daycare comes highly rated and recommended. Perhaps, the greatest benefit is the social interaction that your child will likely receive by being around other children. It is also important to mention your own needs. Working from home or staying at home with kids is a large task, one that can occasionally be stressful. That is why many mothers make the decision to return to the workforce after having a child, for their own sanity.

As you likely already know, the decision as to whether or not you want to return to work after the birth of your baby is your decision to make, but the above mentioned points are ones that you may want to keep in mind. Regardless of whether you decide to return to work or stay at home with your child, your and your child will likely have a long and healthy relationship with each other for years and years to come.

Costs and Financing Options for Hair Transplant Procedures?

Hair transplant surgery would not be considered cheap by most people. In fact, some people cannot afford to have it done at all. However, a great number of people have the option of getting financing for their procedures.

The costs for hair transplant surgery vary from doctor to doctor. They even vary within one doctor’s practice. A common quote for hair transplants is between $2 and $10 per graft. The reason for the wide variance is mainly because the price per graft decreases the more grafts you have done.

Often, the price per hair transplant session is quoted. This may be a lunchtime session. For example, 200 grafts may be done in a short session for $2000. That equals $10 per graft, of course, but you are getting a special time slot, and a very low number of grafts per session.

Prices for specialty hair transplant work tend to be higher as well. For the grafts that are taken from body hair, the price per graft may be anywhere from $12 to $15. Facial hair grafts for those who have lost eyebrows or eyelashes are also high, at $11 to $15. These are specialized procedures.

Follicular Unit Extraction hair transplant costs more than micro-grafts. FUE may cost as much as $15 per graft. Mega-sessions in which large numbers of grafts are completed at one time are cheaper per graft. Figured into the fee is the use of highly skilled technicians to help the doctor.

Repair work is also done at a per graft price. This includes taking out hair plugs from past hair transplant procedures gone wrong. The price may be around $12 per graft when other grafts are being put in at the same time. If the plugs are just being removed, the price is higher, about $15 per graft. Scar revision surgery is usually done at a flat fee, perhaps around $1000 for the procedure.

The normal hair transplant procedure will cost differently depending on the number of grafts even though the cost per graft goes down the more grafts you have. For example, 100 grafts may cost you $1500, while 3000 grafts may cost about $12,000. The price per graft goes down, but the amount of money you have to come up with soars.

This is why many people finance their hair transplant surgeries. To get the results they want, they would have to come up with more money than they can gather at one time. Some examples of financing options are credit cards, finance companies, and bank loans.

Some finance companies are geared especially to people who are getting cosmetic surgery. They may offer loans with no proof of income, available within a day or two of the application. You can finance your entire hair transplant operation with no down payment. You may get 12 months same as cash or 12% interest on a 36 month loan.

Hair transplant is costly, but with the right financing, you can do it if you choose to do it. Financing gives you the opportunity to use the doctor you want to do, have the procedures done as quickly as possible, and have as many procedures done as possible.

I Cured My Arthritis You Can Too

I Cured My Arthritis You Can Too
Margie Garrison – “The Arthritis Lady”

Yes… I Cured My Arthritis You Can Too

From the age of 11 to age 53 I avoided holding hands; they were
painful to the touch, so puffed up, sore and hot!!!

Raising four children, of course, I had to hold their hands. I
tried so hard not to let them know how painful it was but, they
knew I was in constant pain.

I always felt bad for my husband because holding hands was
something we missed. It was hard to knit or crochet, which I
loved to do.

Walking, bending or standing for any period of time was so
painful for me. My children learned, as small children, to do
what ever they could to help around the house.

I went to over thirteen “Arthritis” specialists, which were of
little or no help.

I was prescribed many different drugs and went through all kinds
of treatments for my arthritis.

I was in so much pain that I tried anything and everything to
find relief.

I was so desperate to find something that would stop her pain
that I:

* Went to over 13 physicians, (“Arthritis Specialists”) * I took
Codeine, Darvon, Sprays and “Gold Treatments” * I was placed in
traction with a large weight to stretch her body, was tied to
the bed and couldn’t move for a week! * I was put in an upper
body cast for 3 months * I wore shoe lifts * And so much more!!!

In 1980, the last year I suffered from Arthritis, I spent an
average of $40.00 month on miscellaneous drugs, $30.00 for a
monthly doctor appointment and $30.00 on pain killers. That’s a
total of $100.00 a month. I wish I could have spent that money
on something I liked to do instead.

All the drugs, all the doctors, all the treatments, all the
money… ALL the FAILURES!!!

Doctor after doctor told me that there was no cure for arthritis
and that I should, “Take this medication, go home and learn to
live with it”. One doctor predicted that I would be in a wheel
chair within 5 years.

I was crushed… Being the eternal optimist, never gave up… I
went on a crusade to find a way to stop my arthritis. And I
did!!!

I spent many years researching arthritis, and put together this
incredible program, “I Cured My Arthritis You Can Too” , that
shows you in easy to follow steps how you can do what I did at
home, and without drugs.

I know this may sound too good to be true. But I did it… I
have gone through what you are going through right now. I have
now been living Pain Free from Arthritis for 25 years.

I am known on the World Wide Web (and elsewhere) as “The
Arthritis Lady” and am now doing something I “like” to do. I
spend most of my time answering thousands of emails and phone
calls from people who suffer with arthritis. I answers questions
and help solve their problems.

Here are just a few things people have written me…

“My wife has rheumatoid arthritis and she tried what you wrote
in your book and she has been almost totally pain free for a
month so far. Thanks for publishing your book.

Roy – Goose Creek, S.C

“I have purchased your book and it is a miracle from God. I
really believe in it. It has opened my eyes toward the right
foods we should eat to keep our bodies healthy and free from
diseases.

Evangeline – Culloden, GA

“Thank the Lord and you. Your book is my companion in my quest
for health. I can’t praise it enough. You are a pioneer in the
practice of prevention in Medicine.

Mary B – Santa Cruz, CA

**********

My friend raved to me about how your book helped him. He had
taken so much Cortisone until his doctor balked at giving it to
him. My friend said he spends many painful, sleepless nights,
and that his life was pure misery. Now, some five months later,
he has no pain, and sleeps very well. He has lost some 40 pounds
and feels 20 years younger.

Lewis – Oklahoma City, Ok

“My friend is over 80 years old. She was unable to do hand work
and almost unable to walk. Now she is able to do both. Mrs. A.
